The Tragic Decline In The Bee Population
ByPollination is where bee’s move pollen from one plant to another, resulting in those plants to be able to produce fruits, vegetables, seeds, and so on for us humans. Bee’s are a huge part of our food supply and we need to take action to save them.
If bees went extinct it would destroy the balance and sustainably of the earths ecosystem and will also seriously affect global food supplies. In north America 30% of the food humans eat comes from bee pollinated plant life. I couldn’t even see earth without the small important insect called a bee.

The bottom line is that everyone knows humans are the main problem and largely responsible for two big reason why bee population is declining: pesticides and habitat loss. Other reason of why bee populations is declining predators, and disease. Experts say last winter honey bee populations declined 40%. If this keeps happening yearly we will have a shortage of bees, and with no bees would affect our whole planet. Since 2010 slowly the bee population has declined and year by year it keeps getting worse. This needs to come to a stop fast.

Here are some ways that humans can help solve this problem:
- Use ecofriendly pest controls.
- Neem Oil as pesticides
- Protest bee habitat
- Become a beekeeper.
Benefits of protecting bees:
- Honey
- Beeswax
- If you have a garden the bees pollinate your flowers and vegetables
