Members in my community who can help Haiti
ByHaiti is at a detrimental state right now with many aspects of their community and environment being affected. They need serious help and encouragement from experts to help fix this problem before their land is at a point of no return.
| Green Party Title: Canadian Government Political Party Green Party of Canada The green party is a Canadian Government political party focused on the environment and environmental issues. They are made up of activists who study to improve and fix environmental issues. They support transitions of society that can benefit the earth and its health. I chose the green party because they have a strong support team full of activists who will have enough knowledge and experience to help. They also have a good media platform where they share the issues so people can understand what is going on around them. They can use this to spread the word on what you can do to help or simply to inform the public. I think that with their knowledge and expertise they will be able to create a stable plan to be able to help Haiti with their soil erosion and find a solution to limit deforestation. |
| David Suzuki Title: Science broadcaster and environmental activist Home – David Suzuki Foundation David Suzuki is a Canadian academic, science broadcaster and environmental activist. He is known for his television series, documentaries and books about nature and the environment. He is known as the longtime host of the show” The Nature of Things”. This show is award winning and can be seen in over 40 countries. I chose David Suzuki because he has an amazing platform that has been seen by many over the many years. With this platform many people are able to learn about the environmental issues and may be able to help. I feel he is very educated as an individual activist and is willing to help. He has a great foundation that has been created called ” David Suzuki foundation”. They are ready and willing to speak up the save the environment. This could be a great benefit to Haiti as they will speak up and educate many. |
Overall I think that Haiti could greatly thrive and have the environment improve with these groups and individuals. They have great knowledge and experience and can produce great ideas and solutions.
