I have built a team of hard working people that can help educate others about the dangers of pesticide usage. I have also came up with ways to spread the word.
What are we really putting on our plants and soil?
What is really leaking into our waters?
We need to understand these questions! There are many people who can help us when it comes to raising an awareness. We need to get into action! No one really knows what the long term effects of pesticides are doing to us and it is horrifying.
Social media has helped with getting the word out for many awareness’s and therefore I believe that using famous people on social media, in shows or through music is the best way to grab the attention of the younger, next generations.
Autumn Peltier
Autumn Peltier- warning that water was toxic and we need to do something. She explains that the problem of toxic water is not getting better. She explains how it is DANGEROUS and harming people. Autumn Peltier is a young woman who has dedicated her life to helping her family. when she sees people drinking water full of toxins she wants to find a cause and prevent it from happening to others and other species to.

This link above goes to the Canada health services for pesticide use. This link from the government explains how pesticides are being carefully watched and tested for harm in the ecosystem. But, are we actually able to see the harms and we don’t care because we need our perfectly red apples or is it long term affect that we can’t see now?
Professor Andrew Dawson
Professor Andrew Dawson is a Clinical Professor, Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology. He teaches at the university of Sydney. His work includes testing the effectiveness of household lockable pesticide storage to reduce pesticide self-poisoning in rural Asia. I believe he is the perfect person to help. They work was aimed to compare the hazards of pesticides ingested by the group. Then they would seek evidence on variation between human and regulatory animal toxicity, and establish change over time in the case of fatality. This person and his team can help us by making sure every pesticide is not harming the ecosystem.
The Green Party of Canada
The green party of Canada is a great example of a group of leaders willing to make a difference in our future earth!
The Environmental Protection Agency is an independent executive agency of the United States federal government tasked with environmental protection matters.
The people in that region every second one dies of kidney failure. Gertten says he hopes the film will encourage people to question food producers over their use of pesticides and treatment of workers today. ‘I use pictures of plantations today because I want the audience to put the question to the producers today and ask them, “ok so what are you using today, what about the workers? Are you 100 per cent certain that what you use today will not provoke the same situation in 20 years and make more people sterile, or women losing their babies or more children with birth defects or water and soil with pollution?”
to help raise awareness to what we are putting in our body and on our plants we should proceed with the film. I believe that this was the most important question to be asking because we don’t know what the long term effects are and we don’t know for certain that any of it is safe.
