Soil erosion due to deforestation in Haiti.

I do believe that solar power should be offered cheaply in Haiti to help local residents get electricity.

According to Anabela Abreu. “Haiti has significant untapped sources of renewable energy”

Renewable sources such as solar, hydropower, wind and biomass has great  potential. Over five million people could have access to electricity, but only one in three Haitians have access and its very limited.

In Haiti, the electricity comes from fossil fuels. Which is non-renewable. Much of the population relies on charcoal and wood as their main source of energy. With solar energy, it will be cheaper and more reliable.
