Pesticides and how they are messing up the world
ByFor my ecosystem I had picked “pesticides used in farming/agriculture leach into the ground and ending up into our lakes, rivers and oceans”.
First, I would like to start out with the most known and most hurt full to the ground and water. Glyphosate or better known as Monsanto’s Roundup, it is used on their companion genetically-modified soy, corn, canola and cotton as well as in home gardens and parks. This pesticide is getting causing cancer and people are dying and Sueing because. Most of the food that we are eating today have Glyphosate if it says organic on it has not been sprayed with any of this stuff.
The second one I would like to walk about is Atrazine there is More than 75 million pounds of this weed killer are used in the U.S. ever year—most commonly on corn in the Midwest. When this stuff is sprayed it is in the ground for 15 or more years.
