When I was looking for people who have researched about this issue, I came across these 2 people from Yale. Their names are Cailin O’Connor and James Owen Weatherall. They are 2 professor’s teaching logic and philosophy at Yale and have started research on the topic I have been working on. This article was posted on February 20th 2020 so it is pretty recent. These 2 people have been teaching similar things to thus issue and have come across it. They decided to dive into this problem headfirst and get an understanding about what this issue is about.

Their article includes some interesting facts, such as (The history of mercury use is riddled with such poisonings. Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of a unified China, is reported to have died in 210 BCE after taking mercury pills that ironically were intended to make him immortal. Isaac Newton sank into paranoia and insanity at the end of his brilliant life—likely a result of his experiments with mercury. (Posthumous hair samples revealed highly elevated levels of it.) These 2 people know their stuff and are very respected in Yale.
