ByDeforestation in Haiti has become a critical concern amongst the Haitian citizens. Haiti needs people who understand the situation and that will help them with their problem that has formed over the years.
International Centre for Tropical Agriculture
Title: The 5 year Reforestation project in Haiti
The community activist group I chose is the International Centre for tropical Agriculture.
The International Centre for Tropical Agriculture is a group of people who are helping with the 5 year reforestation project in Haiti funded by USAID.
I selected this group because they have volunteered to help replant the trees in Haiti with a 5 year reforestation project with USAID. This will help Haiti by a huge amount getting all the trees back they lost from deforestation due to the soil erosions.
Green Party
Title: Canadian Goverment Party
The Canadian group activists I chose is the Green Party Government.
The Green Party is a group of people that focus on environmental issues. They organize plans that will stop the environmental issue from getting worse.
I chose the Green Party because they help out a lot and are very good with their jobs helping the environment, I think they could help Haiti out a ton.
