I chose Naomi Klein because she is trying to show people the issue that the population needs to decrease the fossil fuel emissions because of how it is impacting the environment.
Naomi Klein has written multiple books about the environment and how we need to make a change. Recently, she has spoken about fossil fuels affecting the environment. I believe she could help me with this topic since fossil fuel emission increases because of the consumers, which is the population. Population pressures means higher demand on fossil fuels, which is not good for the environment, it can cause air and water pollution. Meaning the issue, we are researching are linked.
I chose Naomi Klein to be a part of the team because of the commitment she has for getting the message across. She believes that the environment is in danger, and we need to make a change. She has knowledge of the issue and would be able to further my understanding of the ecological issue.
David Suzuki
David Suzuki is a Canadian broadcaster and environmental issue. In 1990, David Suzuki opened the David Suzuki foundation to help provide research for the government and citizens about the environment.
I chose David Suzuki because he is an advocate about water use and how health problems can start from plastic, plastic pollutes the water, and plastic has chemicals in it. Leading him to drink from tap water.
David Suzuki can help me because water pollution caused by corporations and population because millions of people use plastic every day, which is ultimately leading to plastic pollution, which affects the waters. Corporations are continuously polluting the environment by producing plastic products. David Suzuki talks about how plastic is affecting the environment and it’s wrong to drink bottled water.
I selected David Suzuki for the team because he strongly stands by what he believes in and is very qualified to help with his education and understanding. Adding on a Ph.D. in zoology and being a university professor in genetics. With his knowledge of the environment, he could give me a deeper understanding of the lack of fresh drinking water caused by water pollution.
